Right now, our field teams don’t have a proper form for washer and dryer installations. They’re using other forms like “Cooktop” or “Microwave,” which don’t include laundry-specific details. Because of that, key information—like clearances, venting, hookups, and access paths—often gets missed.
That leads to real problems on installation day: machines don’t fit, vents can’t be connected, or the wrong power setup is assumed. It causes reschedules, extra visits, and unhappy customers.
We’d love to have a dedicated “Washer & Dryer” survey form in the Home Visit app, with all the right questions for laundry setups.
It should help surveyors easily capture:
Appliance dimensions and available space
Power and water connections
Vent route and accessibility
Access path (doorways, stairs, elevator)
Notes for stacked or side-by-side setups
In short, we just want a clean, guided form that ensures all the right measurements and details are collected the first time — so installs go smoothly and customers aren’t kept waiting.
