We’re encountering an issue with CPS & Mulberry due to incorrect customer emails being submitted. In real situations, salespeople may accidentally mistype the email domain, or customers may provide an incorrect or incomplete email. As a result, the CPS/Mulberry checkout validation fails.Example Scenario: Actual email: rizal@hiu.co
Entered in POS by salesperson: rizal@hiu.comSince hiu.com doesn’t exist, CPS/Mulberry automatically rejects the protection plan submission. My Suggestions:
Implement an email domain validator when creating/editing customer
Allowing email to be optional per salesperson could solve this, since not all customers have email (Today, salespeople often enter placeholder emails like no@email.com or noemail@gmail.com, which ultimately causes submission failures.)
3. I will request to Mulberry/CPS developer to allow submission without email on their API
If they can't, we'll think of another way for this.
