Make New Changelog Updates More Noticeable

I’ve noticed that it’s really easy to miss new changelog updates, even though they come out every Monday. Most of us only realize something new has shipped when we manually check the “What’s New” section — and by then, several updates may have already passed by unnoticed.

It would be incredibly helpful if the platform could highlight new updates more clearly. For example, a small badge next to the “What’s New at Appliance.io” header that says something like “2 new updates” (or maybe “New updates available” if the team prefers something more flexible) would make a huge difference. The badge should dynamically reflect how many changelog posts a user hasn’t read yet.

Right now, the whole section is styled with a red border and a pulsing red dot, but it shows up even when everything has already been read. Instead, it would be great if this special styling only appeared when there are unread changelogs. Once the user has opened them, the section should return to its normal, simple look.

What I’m asking for is a clearer visual cue — both the badge and the red highlight — that only appears when there truly is something new. That way, we won’t miss important updates anymore.
