π Problem:
Currently, all credit card processing fees are absorbed by our clients for transactions made via credit card on the platform.
β οΈ Why is this a problem:
Many of our clients would prefer to pass these processing fees onto their customers instead of covering the cost themselves. Without this flexibility, they are forced to take a financial hit on every card transaction, which adds up over time.
β Solution:
We want to give clients the ability to choose whether or not to pass credit card fees on to their customers. This feature should include:
Toggle Control
Allow the client to turn this setting on or off at any time from within AIO Pay settings.
Custom % Selection
Clients should be able to choose the % amount of the fee to pass through (e.g. 3.0%, 3.5%, etc.).
Display to Customer
When enabled, the fee should be clearly shown to the customer at checkout as a separate line item labeled something like βCredit Card Processing Fee.β

Transaction Reporting
All passed-through fees should be reflected in reporting, including whether the fee was paid by the customer or absorbed by the client.
Permissions & Visibility
Only users with Superadmin permissions should be able to change these settings.
