Damage Allowance credit

Is there a way to reduce the refund/return on an order for any damage allowance refunds that have been credited to the customer? For example, Order 01-190577 has a damage allowance credit of $200. If this order needs to be returned/refunded for any reason, it will refund the customer the full amount PLUS they have also received the $200 refund check we issued them for the damage allowance.
