Let Us Edit Orders Without Starting Over

Right now, we can’t edit existing orders—if a customer changes their mind, we have to cancel and recreate the order. This creates duplicates, accounting confusion, and wasted time.

Example: A customer orders 3 chairs and 1 table, then switches to 5 chairs. Today, we’d need to redo the whole order instead of just adjusting it.

What we need:

  • Delete items (with safeguards: no delivered/special orders, refunds handled correctly, changes logged).

  • Add items (tracked by payment date).

  • Prevent negative balances or delivery scheduling when payments aren’t settled.

  • Keep all edits transparent and auditable.

Request: Please let us edit orders directly—add/remove products safely and keep a clear audit trail—so small changes don’t mean starting over.
