Let us reorder DMI Inventory columns and remember our layout

We use the DMI Inventory table every day, but the column order is fixed. Different people on our team care about different fields—buyers look at stock and cost first; sales looks at pricing and promos. Every time we come back to the page, any tweaks we made are gone, so we end up re-scanning and scrolling around to find what we need.

This slows us down and makes it easy to miss important info during inventory checks and pricing reviews.

Concrete example:
I like to see On Hand, Committed, and Cost up front, with MSRP and MAP after that. I drag them mentally each time, but when I refresh or navigate away and return, the table resets and I have to hunt for those columns again.

What we’d like:

  • Let us drag-and-drop table headers to reorder any visible columns in Inventory → DMI Inventory.

  • Make it keyboard-accessible too (move a focused header left/right).

  • Remember my column order per user and account, so it persists across pagination, filters, navigation, refresh, and even sign-in/sign-out.

  • Work with Show/Hide Columns:

    • If we re-show a hidden column, put it back where we last placed it.

    • If a brand-new column is added by the product, just place it at the end until we move it.

  • Provide a simple “Reset to default order” option in column settings.

  • Keep widths as they are today (we’re fine handling width persistence later).

  • Ensure no header jitter or misalignment while dragging, even on wide tables.

The request:
Please enable flexible, persistent column reordering for the DMI Inventory table so each user can keep a layout that matches their workflow—without having to set it up again every time.
