Right now, the Order Report feels cluttered and doesn’t give me the clarity I need at a glance. If I sort by Total, Profit, or Date, I lose sight of the order status unless I click into each one. The filter bar is also crowded — longer status names break the layout, and it’s hard to quickly scan. On top of that, urgent statuses don’t stand out, and there are no tooltips or links to help new users understand what each report means.
This all adds up to slower workflows, more mistakes, and more time spent asking support for help.
Here’s what would really help:
Color-coded statuses – Each status has its own color so I can instantly see what’s important. For example: red for “Not Yet Requested,” hot pink for “Scheduled Delivery,” green for “Active and Open,” etc. Urgent statuses should pop, while lower-priority ones can be calmer tones.
Cleaner filter bar – Longer status labels (like “Active and Open” or “Scheduled Delivery”) should stack neatly onto two lines so the bar isn’t messy.
Hover tooltips – Simple descriptions when I hover over report tabs, so I know exactly what “Damage Allowances” or “Income Statement” covers without guessing.
Reports guide icon – A small icon (like a brain) that links directly to the Help Guide, so new users can find more detailed explanations quickly.
Visual alerts for urgent statuses – If “Not Yet Requested,” “Scheduled Delivery,” or “Open Reschedules” has open items, show a little arrow or icon above the number in its color, with hover text explaining what needs attention.
In short: I want the Order Report to be more visual, cleaner, and easier to understand at a glance — especially when urgent statuses need quick action.
