As a salesperson building quotes, I shouldn’t have to memorize exact coupon codes. Right now, if I mistype a code (or mix up similar ones), the discount doesn’t apply and I have to hunt around in Promotions to find the right one. It slows me down and creates mistakes—especially when we’ve got several active offers running.
What I’m asking for
In the Totals section of a quote, please add a Coupon dropdown that lists only the coupons that actually apply to this order. When I select one, the discount should apply immediately and the quote should clearly show what was applied.
How it should work (from my seat)
The dropdown shows only valid, active retailer coupons for this order based on:
Minimum order requirement
My location/region
Expiration date
Brand eligibility for the products on the quote
After I choose a coupon, show a short description right under it so anyone reviewing the order understands the discount at a glance (e.g., “10% off Whirlpool, min $500, valid St. Louis, expires Oct 31”).
Simple example
I’m quoting a Whirlpool fridge and range. In Totals, I open Coupon and see:
“FALL10 — 10% off Whirlpool (Min $500, St. Louis, Expires Oct 31)”
“DELIVERY25 — $25 off delivery (Min $300, Region-wide, Expires Nov 15)”
I select FALL10 and the system applies it. The Totals section now shows:
Coupon: FALL10 — 10% off Whirlpool (Min $500, St. Louis, Expires Oct 31)
No guessing, no typos—just pick and go.
Clear request
Please add a coupon dropdown in Order Totals that:
pulls only active, applicable coupons based on order rules (minimum, location, expiration, brand), and
displays a concise description once selected so the applied discount is obvious to anyone viewing the order.
