Right now, our Appliance Rebate Hub is showing rebates from buying groups we’re not part of. For example, our NECO stores (like Grove and Drimmers) are seeing Nationwide rebates in the Instant Rebates area. That makes our admins think those promos are fair game, and it risks us putting non-eligible offers into quotes or on the site.
What we need is simple: if a store is in NECO, it should only ever see NECO rebates. If it’s in Nationwide, only Nationwide. If the store is set to “Other” (or a group outside NECO/Nationwide), then use Nationwide manufacturer rebates as a default so stores still have coverage—but make it clear that’s the fallback.
A quick example
Grove (NECO) opens the Rebate Hub → they should only see NECO rebates. Nationwide rebates should be hidden or disabled so they can’t be selected by mistake. If a new store joins and is temporarily “Other,” they’ll see Nationwide rebates with a small note that these are shown by default until their proper group is assigned.
Why this matters to us
Keeps us compliant with buying-group exclusivity.
Prevents admins from quoting or publishing the wrong promotions.
Saves time—no more manually hiding rebates that don’t apply.
Our request
Please filter the Appliance Rebate Hub by the store’s assigned buying group:
NECO (including ADC / N.E.A.G / DMI) → show NECO rebates only.
Nationwide → show Nationwide rebates only.
BrandSource/Other/anything else → default to Nationwide manufacturer rebates and display a short note explaining the fallback.
Also, make this logic future-proof so new buying groups can be added easily, and validate that each store has a buying group assigned so the filter always works.
