Request a Quote Directly From Cart

As a buyer, I often need formal quotes—especially when items show “See for Pricing.” Right now I have to email lists or spreadsheets, which slows things down and leaves me without clear status.

What I’d like:

• A “Request a Quote” option in two places:

  1. From the cart (replacing Checkout if hidden-price items are present).

  2. Standalone form (linked in header/footer, with SKU entry or file upload).

• Auto-fill my details if I’m logged in; let guests add theirs.

• After submitting, my cart stays intact and shows Pending Quote.

• Sales can approve in the system, then pricing syncs back to my cart and I get an email to proceed.

This would make quoting seamless, avoid back-and-forth emails, and give me clear visibility from request to approval to checkout.
