When the SMS system goes down, the in-app banner alert is helpful — but lately, we’ve had several outages, and that’s caused bigger issues on our end.
Right now, when special orders auto-convert to regular ones during an outage, we lose the special terms and agreements that are critical for chargeback protection. Without that agreement record, it becomes hard to defend client disputes.
It would be really helpful if, during any SMS outage, the system could automatically send an email for special orders.
That way, even if SMS and in-app systems are disrupted, we still can use email to send the link to customer
