Vendor Settings: Required “Account Number” for Each Brand/Vendor

We’re running into more brands that won’t share data until we prove we’re an authorized retailer. Right now there’s nowhere in the platform to store our retailer account numbers for each brand or distributor, so we can’t easily verify our status when brands ask. That puts us at risk of losing data access and forces us into manual back-and-forth that doesn’t scale.

Example:
When onboarding a new line (say, Brand A through Distributor X), they ask for our account number to unlock pricing and product data. We have that number—but there’s no dedicated place to save it in Vendor Settings. Later, when support or our reps need to verify access, they have to dig through emails or notes instead of seeing it right in the system.

What we’d love:

  • Add a required Account Number text field on the Vendor Settings page for each brand/distributor relationship.

  • Follows existing UI patterns (same look/feel as other vendor fields) and appears alongside vendor rep contact info when that’s available.

  • Basic validation (required, sensible length/format) so we don’t save junk.

  • Easily retrievable in workflows where we need to prove authorization (support, brand syncs, audits).

  • New vendors can’t be saved without an account number; existing vendors can be updated to include it.

Clear request:
Please add a required “Account Number” field to Vendor Settings—validated, stored, and visible—so we can reliably verify authorized reseller status and stay compliant with brand requirements.
