🐞 Problem:
Currently, there are two separate places where users can enter their business contact phone number.

1. Location Settings – updates the number shown in the store icon drop-down at the top of the website.

2. Website Self-Launching Setup – updates the number shown on the Contact page of the website.

This creates confusion and inconsistency because the numbers can easily become mismatched between pages.

⚠️ Why is this a problem:
Having multiple input areas for the same data creates unnecessary duplication, inconsistency across the site, and extra work for users. It also increases the chance that incorrect contact information will display publicly, which can confuse customers and damage trust.

✅ Solution:

• Consolidate the phone number field so that there is only one place to set a business contact number — in Location Settings.

• When updated there, the phone number should automatically populate and display everywhere publicly visible on the website:

  • Under the store icon drop-down

  • On the Contact page

  • At the bottom of the originating page that leads to the Contact page

• During website self-launch setup, this information should:

  • Auto-populate from the existing company location settings (store name, address, phone, etc.)

  • Be non-editable within the self-launch wizard

  • Include an info marker (ⓘ) that states:

    “This information is pulled directly from your Company Location Settings. To update your business details, please make changes there — updates will automatically reflect across your website.”

This ensures accuracy, consistency, and a smoother user experience across all site touchpoints.
