Website Self Launcher: Option to Remove Delivery Day Picker

🐞 Problem
Currently, during website checkout, customers are able to select their delivery day before completing payment. While this works well for many dealers and contributes to strong conversion rates, it does not fit all business models. Some dealers—specifically smaller operations like Royal Appliance—manage delivery routes manually on a day-by-day basis and do not want customers selecting delivery dates themselves.


⚠️ Why is this a problem?
For dealers who build routes manually, allowing customers to select delivery days can create scheduling conflicts, additional administrative work, and operational inefficiencies. These dealers need flexibility to control delivery scheduling internally rather than committing to dates chosen during checkout. Without this control, the current checkout flow forces a process that does not align with how their business operates.


Solution
Add a configurable option in the Website Launcher that allows clients to toggle the Delivery Day Picker on or off during checkout.

  • When enabled, customers can select their delivery day before payment (current behavior).

  • When disabled, customers will not see the delivery day picker during checkout, allowing the dealer to schedule deliveries internally after the order is placed.

This gives dealers greater autonomy to choose the checkout experience that best matches their operational needs while preserving the existing high-conversion flow for those who want it.
