POS Integration Toggle Shows False Successful Activation

Summary

Toggling a POS integration (Data Integrations & Protection Plans) ON incorrectly shows a success message even when required configuration has not been completed. This makes users think the integration is active when it isn’t.

Problem

• The toggle allows OFF → ON without setup.

• A success toast appears even though no configuration was saved.

• UI says the integration is ON, but backend keeps it OFF.

Expected

• Users must complete the setup before the integration can be enabled.

• Success toast only appears after setup is submitted and saved.

Fix Needed

• When toggling ON:

  • Open the existing setup flow as a modal.

  • Only enable integration after successful setup.

• If the user closes or cancels setup, the toggle should stay OFF.

• Remove the misleading success toast on toggle.
