✨ Update: ACH Payments Re-enabled with AIO Pay by Bank + Plaid

ACH payments are now available again through AIO Pay by Bank, powered by Plaid, providing a lower-cost alternative to card payments with improved bank verification and payment reliability.

Previously, ACH Direct Debit was disabled due to validation gaps that could allow invalid bank details to pass through and occasionally appear as successful transactions. This update introduces secure bank authentication through Plaid before payment authorization across Website Checkout and Customer Portal flows.

What’s New

  • Re-enabled ACH / Pay by Bank payments

  • Secure bank authentication and verification via Plaid

  • ACH visibility controls for:

    • Website Checkout

    • Customer Portal / Payment Links

  • Configurable maximum ACH transaction amount

  • Improved payment accuracy and reduced ACH failures

Why It Matters

This update helps businesses:

  • Reduce payment processing costs compared to card payments

  • Minimize ACH returns and failed payments

  • Reduce fraud and manual reconciliation work

  • Gain more control over ACH availability by transaction size and checkout surface

Admin Controls

From Settings → Payments, users can:

  • Enable or disable ACH payments

  • Control where ACH appears

  • Set a maximum ACH payment amount

If an order exceeds the configured limit, ACH will automatically be hidden during checkout.

✨ Feature Update
💳 Safer Payments with 3D Secure (3DS)

We’ve added an extra layer of security to card payments with 3D Secure (3DS) across all platforms, helping protect transactions and reduce fraud.

What this means for you:

✅ More secure card payments with an added verification step
🛡️ Reduced risk of fraudulent transactions and chargebacks
🔄 Better protection through bank verification (when applicable)
💻 Applies across Website, Customer Portal, and POS transactions

Customers may now see a quick verification step (such as OTP or banking app approval) during checkout. Once completed, payments will continue as usual.

A safer way to pay, with minimal impact on the checkout experience. 🚀

⚙️ Important Notes

  • This update is automatically applied to all clients

  • The verification step may not appear on every transaction (depends on bank/card rules)

  • If verification fails, the payment may be declined or require a retry

🧩 Current Limitations

  • 3DS cannot be enabled/disabled per client at this stage

  • No configuration available yet via the dashboard

  • Per-client control is planned for a future update

📦 My Orders & Order Report – Custom Views & In-Transit Tab

Introducing the new In Transit status tab — a dedicated view for orders that are ready to be or currently being delivered, giving you real-time visibility into delivery progress. Alongside this, you can now personalize your My Orders experience with the Custom View feature! Create tabs that display only the statuses you care about — such as Not Yet Requested, Ordered, Scheduled Delivery, Delivered, and Archived — and tailor your columns to match your workflow. Each custom tab can be renamed, edited, or deleted anytime, and your custom views automatically sync to the Order Report page for consistency. Note that the In Transit tab is not included in Custom Views, as it’s designed to always show live delivery activity for better tracking and operational clarity.

🏷️ Product Pricing – PMAP Toggle & MSRP Defaults

You now have more control over your pricing strategy! When using MAP as the Sale Price Rule, a new “Include PMAPs” toggle lets you choose whether to include promotional MAPs. Turn it off to use standard MAPs only for safer, more consistent pricing. Plus, the Regular Price Rule now defaults to MSRP (when available), with a warning modal to confirm any changes — helping prevent errors on “compare at” pricing and ensuring pricing consistency across your catalog.

💰 Product Pricing – Competitor-Based Brand Sale Price Rule

You can now set specific competitor prices as your brand’s Sale Price Rule! decide whether to Match, Mark Down, or Mark Up their price. The rule automatically respects MAP compliance when its active, falls back to your next pricing rule if no data is found, and logs every decision in the price audit trail. This gives retailers the flexibility to stay competitive while maintaining full pricing control and compliance.

📊 Balance Sheet – Historical Drill-Down for Deferred Revenue

Reconciliation just got easier! Clicking a Deferred Revenue amount on the Balance Sheet now opens a Historical View showing the exact data as of that reporting date. You can filter by date, order number, location, or category and export results in CSV/XLSX. Real-time and historical modes both include tooltips explaining their behavior, ensuring clear visibility into recognized and deferred amounts. 🏷 Report – Sales Tax: Fix Mismatch Calculation

Resolved an issue causing a calculation mismatch in the Sales Tax Report that occurred when orders involved mixed payment methods, partial returns, and add-ons. These conditions previously caused the reported tax values to fall out of sync with the actual order details, which could impact reporting accuracy and financial reconciliation. With this fix, all tax calculations are now properly synchronized with order data, ensuring consistency, clearer tracking, and more reliable reporting moving forward.
